It's been four years since Ella has seen Patrick... what will it be like when they reunite?

In the fall of 2024, I created this short film for one of my classes, Narrative Production. I knew I wanted to explore the idea of seeing someone who you haven’t seen in years - there is something so human, but so scary and exciting all at the same time about these moments. When you see someone again for the first time after four years, there’s lots of room for change - maybe that person will be exactly as you remember them, or maybe they will be completely different. This nervousness, the possibilities within this moment before - that is what I became interested in with this film.
